She excels most especially in her dramatic scenes where she sheds copious tears, especially after her and Dennis’ son, Sammy (Euwen Aleta) died tragically.
“I’m really thankful to all those who message me and congratulate me for my effective performance,” she says. “Nakakatuwa talagang napapansin nila ang acting ko kahit na baguhan lang ako compared to my co-stars.”
So what makes her kind of emoting very persuasive? “Wala. Basta inilalagay ko lang sa puso kung ano ang mga emosyong required sa eksena. Kapag hindi mo talaga kasi tunay na nararamdaman ang nangyayari sa character mo, hindi lalabas na kapani-paniwala ang acting mo. You have to be very sincere at isipin mong ikaw talaga yung character, isinasapuso mo siya talaga at nararamdaman mo talaga ang lahat ng pinagdaraanan niya.”In the show’s more recent episodes, Dingdong as Daniel helps the grieving Sanya by taking her to a doctor, Tommy Abuel as Dr. Felipe. It turns out that the doctor is the husband of Fe (Chanda Romero), the former Belen who is the real mother of Dingdong and Dennis as Elias. It’s the first time for Dingdong to meet his long lost mother again, but although they can somewhat feel the so called “lukso ng dugo”, they don’t get to recognize each other’s real identities yet.
Meantime, with the help of a CCTV footage, Dingdong also discovers how the boy Sammy was really killed and he wants to take revenge on the culprits. He also gets to save the life of his dad, Eddie Gutierrez as Antonio, from the hands of their enemies. Because of this, Antonio gives all the shares in their company to Dingdong. In the case of Dennis, he becomes the member of a syndicate called Kapatiran and learns how to kill people. As they say, the plot thickens.
