After Ex Battalion, Ai Ai De Las Alas Also Manages A New Girl Group, Mooi G (Pretty Girls), To Be Launched At The 'Kami Ang Ex B' Concert This Saturday At Ynares Pasig

AS IF SHE doesn’t already have her hands full managing the Ex Battalion, Ai Ai de las Alas is now launching an all female singing group called Mooi G. She says Mooi is a Dutch word which means pretty or beautiful, and it’s pronounced as Moowi. G stands for girl, so Mooi G means pretty or beautiful girls. Mooi G has five members to be called according to color, so they're named Red M, Peach B, Black G, Violet K and Pink J.

“We chose colors to be their names not just to protect their private lives but also, para madaling tandaan ng publiko kung paano sila tatawagin,” explains Ai Ai. “We will formally introduced them bilang front act sa first anniversary concert ng Ex Battalion sa Ynares Sports Center in Pasig on July 14, ang ‘Kami ang Ex B’. Doon nyo makikita kung gaano sila ka-sexy at kung gaano sila kahusay mag-perform so manood kayo this coming Saturday, 8 PM.



Their first single is a song titled “Yass Call Me”, composed by award-winning songwriter Jungee
Marcelo. The music video was made by Ai Ai herself and it will have an official launch on youtube on July 11, 3 PM.

The members of Mooi G were recruited after a series of rigid auditions and they’re all thanking their Mama Ai for helping launch their showbiz career. "We promise to also do our best para hindi kami mapahiya sa tiwalang ibinigay ni Mama Ai sa amin," they all declare with confidence.

“They’re all very talented,” adds Ai Ai. “Masarap silang tulungan kasi malaki ang promise nila at may dedication sila. Kaya naman marami akong plano para sa kanila. So ngayon, sa mga gigs, hindi lang ang Ex Battalion ang puedeng mag-perform kundi in tandem na sila ng Mooi G. They’re all ready to rock showbiz at pasabog talaga lagi ang performances nila kaya abangan nyo.”
