“Siempre, basta si Mother Lily, go agad tayo,” says Maricel. “Tapos ang direk pa si my good friend, si Eric, who I really love to work with again.”
Also in the cast are Paolo Ballesteros, Solenn Heussaff, Joem Bascon, Diane Medina, and child star Marcus Cabals. The movie is a combination of comedy and drama that is sure to touch your hearts on Mother’s Day this coming May.
Meantime, Regal is preparing for their next release, the teen romantic comedy entitled “So Connected”, starring Janella Salvador with a new leading man, Jameson Blake. We all know that Janella’s films with Elmo Magalona both didn’t do as well as expected at the box office, “Bloody Crayons” and “My Fairy Tail Love Story”. Let’s see if she’d be luckier with Jameson whose entry in the last Metro Filmfest, “Haunted Forest”, was a very big hit.
Regal has completed another new movie, “Recipe for Love”, but they’re now having difficulty how to market it. It stars Christian Bables who lost the momentum in his career that he gained after her won awards for his role as Barbs in “Die Beautiful” for the company of Jun Lana and Perci Intalan who no doubt did wonders for his career in giving him a break in that movie and in “I Love You to Death”, then he suddenly dumped them and their new project for him, “Born Beautiful”, which went to Martin del Rosario.Regal is also conducting acting workshops for their new stars, including Johnvic de Guzman (seen before in “Seklusyon”), Kaki Ramirez (seen in “This Time I’ll Be Sweeter”), Fiona Young (seen in “Haunted Forest) and total newcomers JayR Ramos, Jenny Artea, Cherise Castro, JM Martinez, Drew Magbag and Miggy Marty.
