Alma said she was surprised when Vitto told her he’d audition for Hashtags and was later launched as one of its members in “Showtime”. “Nagulat ako kasi he used to be very shy,” she adds. “Akala ko, walang hilig sa showbiz pero ngayon, na-build up na ang confidence niya lalo’t ilo-lauch pa siya ng Viva.”

What can he say about the blind items saying that two of his colleagues in Hashtags have gotten girls pregnant? “Wala naman ako sa posisyon para sagutin yan for them. All I can say is ka-batch ko yung mga natsitsismis and it’s not true na inalis na sila kasi part pa rin sila ng grupo. In “Squad Goals”, he plays Tom and his story mirrors his real life. He’s the son of a former basketball player (which Joey is) and an actress (which Alma is.) As Tom, he’s taking up hotel and restaurant management and is also the captain ball of their school’s varsity team who’s been named MVP three times. In “Squad Goals”, he finds new friends in his co-stars: Julian Trono, Andrew Muhlach, Jack Reid and Daniel Husch. “Talagang barkada na kami ngayon and we treat each other like brothers,” he adds.
