“We’re not even officially engaged yet,” he says. “Magsisimula pa lang ang bagong show naming ‘The Stepdaughters’ kaya malabong magplano na kami ng wedding. We’re not ready yet to start our own family. As of now, we’re just have to still give each other our own space. Madalas naman kaming nagkikita, e. Like ngayon, magkasama kami sa isang show so we’re always together sa taping namin. And we’re also travel buddies, lagi kaming magkasama when we’re traveling.”

“Wala, katuwaan lang,” says Mikael. “Pero ni hindi kami nag-uusap pa about wedding plans. If it comes, then it comes, but as of now, there’s no rush. As of now, tinutulungan pa namin ang moms namin, ang mga kapatid namin.”
So how is it working together for the first time in “The Stepdaughters” that starts airing this afternoon replacing “Impostora”? “Masaya, finally, magkapareha na kami. Ang lungkot naman kung pareho kaming Kapuso tapos di kami magkakatrabaho, di ba? But we waited for the right project at pareho naming gustong-gusto ang ‘The Stepdaughters’ kasi sobrang ganda ng story. Later on, sana bigyan din kami ng hosting job, gaya nina Drew and Iya Arellano. Ang saya nun. Marami pang other possibilities, but as of now, sana panoorin at suportahan ng viewers ang unang pagtatambal namin in ‘The Stepdaughters’ kunsaan we both try to give our very best.”
