Her full name is Jane Florence de Leon and she was born on November 22, 1998 in San Pedro, Laguna. She started as a TV commercial and ramp model then Star Magic made her a member of the all female dance group called GirlTrends that was seen regularly in “Showtime”.
On TV, she has acted in “Wansapanataym”, “La Luna Sangre” and did two episodes of “Maalaala Mo Kaya”. “I’ve appeared in a supporting role sa isang movie before. I was the sister of Coleen Garcia in ‘Friends with Benefits’, pero dito po sa ‘The Debutantes’, formally introducing na po ako and full length yung role ko as one the leads,” she says.Jane was chosen to be one of the four Star Magic talents sent to Los Angeles to join the bootcamp of Now United, a global pop group formed by Hollywood producer Simon Fuller, along with Bailey May, Ylona Garcia and AC Bonifacio. “Bale two weeks po kami nag-train sa Hollywood and so far, si Bailey ang napili nila kasi mas kailangan nila ng more guys. Actually, noong pinag-audition nila kami, I had no idea kung ano yung Now United. Hanggang sa nasama po ako sa short list at nalaman kong it’s an international pop group doing concerts all over the world. Ipinadala kami roon to be representatives of our country, along with other representatives ng iba’t ibang countries. Nag-perform po kami sa harap ng big Hollywood stars, like Miley Cyrus. They said they’re coming over soon para i-train kami uli rito ng mga kasama ko. Sana nga, matuloy.”
How was it working with Sue Ramirez, Michelle Vito, Miles Ocampo and Chanel Morales in “The Debutantes”? “Ay, masaya po. Enjoy kaming lahat sa company ng bawat isa along with our director, Prime Cruz. Nagpapasalamat kami kay Mother Lily for giving us the chance to work with each other. We’re proud of the movie kasi yung mahihilig sa scary movies, masisiyahan sila dahil maraming scenes na nakakatakot talaga kaya abangan nyo when it opens sa mga sinehan on October 4.”Several young Kapamilya actors have been courting her for months now but she’s not keen on having a boyfriend yet. “Sayang naman ang career ko, nagsisimula pa lang, so dito muna ang focus ko.”
