“It wasn’t easy,” she says. “It took me six years before I finally graduated. There were times when I doubted myself and just wanted to give up. But with the help of God, my family, my professors and workmates, I finally graduated and it’s all worth it.”
She has since appeared in various TV shows like “Forevermore”, “Ang Probinsyano”, “Super D”, “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and the latest was in “La Luna Sangre” where she played a vampire. Isn’t she getting impatient with the slow progress of her career in showbiz?

She’s the ambassadress of Megasoft Hygienic Products, makers of Sisters, and she just renewed her contract with them for two years. During her first year as endorser, they visited 33 schools all over the country to give recognition to outstanding teachers, students and to lecture about menstrual hygiene awareness. Why did they choose Myrtle to be the face of Sisters Feminine Napkins?

“Myrtle is the ideal role model for the youth kasi kahit she’s busy with showbiz work, yet she really tried hard to get a college degree,” says Aileen Choi Go, Megasoft VP for Marketing. “Magkasama kami in visiting schools around the country and she’s always professional. Masaya siyang kasama kahit 3 AM ang flight namin. I see her studying sa plane and sa hotel just to achieve her goal of graduating with honors. She’s very articulate and easily connects with the students kapag nagsasalita siya. She can really inspire young people to value the importance of education.”

Myrtle will be in Cebu on September 16, 10 AM, at the Megasoft Warehouse in Mandaue City, to be shown on Facebook Live, then she’ll be at Gaisano Grand Dumanjug Mall at 4 PM and Gaisano Grand Moalboal at 6PM with co-endorser for Cherub, Kristoff Garcia, who’ll be in Puerto Princesa on September 26 and Isetan Recto Manila on September 29. Keep up with their other activities on Facebook@sistersph and Instagram @megasoft_ph.
