John Lloyd and Angel will appear only in the first week of telecast but Richard will stay on until the end. Richard says he doesn’t mind supporting the KathNiel love team.
"They seem to be very nice kids, I'm excited to work with them," he says. “We all know that at such a young age, they've already accomplished a lot. They’ve contributed to this industry and I respect it that at such a young age they are entertaining millions of Filipinos here and abroad. I was on that path before and I know how it feels to be grinding and working, I respect that.”“Nagpapasalamat talaga kami ni Kath kina Kuya Richard na pumayag silang mapasama sa ‘La Luna Sangre’,” says Daniel at the show’s presscon.
As the young lovers Tristan and Malia (taken from Matteo and Lia), the two stars really did a lot of prior preparation for their roles that will involve a lot of action scenes. “Nag-martial arts training kami. Excited din kami to work again with Direk Cathy Molina, na siyang nagdirek sa amin noon sa soap naming ‘Got to Believe’ at sa movie naming ‘She’s Dating the Gangster’. Malaking tulong siya sa amin ni Kathryn dahil napakagaling niyang mag-motivate and very comfortable na kami sa kanya.”Direk Cathy is very pleased with her two main stars. Kakaiba itong ‘La Luna Sangre’ sa sinundan nitong ‘Lobo’ at ‘Imortal’ kasi it’s less dark, may pagka-romcom at mas maraming action scenes.”
