“Wala lang, okay naman kaming lahat,” she says. “Alam naman nilang we’re just friends na nagkayayaang lumabas, so walang nabago sa friendship naming lahat. Happy pa rin kami sa set and we’re all thankful sa laging magandang pagtanggap ng tao sa show namin every night at kahit saan kami magpunta to do mall shows.”

Meantime, Barbie’s fans will be pleased to know that after “Meant to Be”, she might start shooting a new movie, a mainstream one after all the indie films she did. We’ve been telling Mother Lily Monteverde to get her to do a film project with Regal Multimedia since the time of her hit afternoon soap, “The Half Sisters”, which ran for two years, proving that Barbie has a big fan base. They said they tried it then, but no action from GMA, which is sad since their GMA Films is not active anymore and many of their stars can come up with hit movies, given the right project and the right push.
Now, with the success of “Meant to Be”, we told Mother Lily once again: “Mother, igawa mo na ng pelikula si Barbie, isama mo yung four leading men niya sa ‘Meant to Be’ kasi kahit saan sila mag-mall show, dinudumog talaga sila.” And Mother Lily told us: “Yes, may negotiations na. Kinausap na sila ni Roselle (Monteverde, her daughter who’s managing Regal now) at papayagan na raw si Barbie na gumawa ng pelikula.”
