Nathalie Hart Brutalized By The Sadistic Joel Torre In Cinema One Originals Entry, 'Tisay'

AFTER WINNING an international acting award for “Siphayo”, Nathalie Hart is now playing another demanding role in the Cinema One entry, “Tisay”, directed by Borgy Torre. So which one is the more challenging role?

“Mas maganda at mas mahirap ang role ko in ‘Tisay’,” she says. “Probinsiyana ako ritong napadpad sa Maynila at napunta sa crime lord na si Joel Torre. He’s bipolar. Anak ang turing niya sa’kin, pero ginagahasa ako. Brutal ang pakikipag-love making niya sa’kin. Sadista rin siya kaya binubugbog ako. May scene gumamit pa siya ng dildo at niyari ako sa likod. He ordered me na akitin si JC De Vera na isang magaling na basketball player and convince him to participate sa game fixing. Kaso, totoong na-in love ako kay JC at gusto ko nang kumalas kay Joel Torre so ayun, ginulpi ako nang todo.”

Will she win best actress in the Cinema One Filmfest Awards Night? “Kung mananalo ako, why not? It’ll be such an honor. Like I said, mas mahirap ang ginawa ko rito. Direk Borgy didn’t even want me to wear make up. Kapag mukha akong haggard, mas gusto niya. Nakaka-inspire kaeksena sina Joel Torre and JC De Vera rito kasi pareho silang napakagaling. Noong una kong scene with Joel Torre, I was intimidated kasi pagdating sa set, in character na agad siya. Pero sa second day namin, okay na ako kasi kapag magaling ang kaeksena mo, mahahawa ka, gagalingan mo rin.”

We know she didn’t allow her parents to watch “Siphayo” because of her nude scenes. How about here in “Tisay”? “Ay, isasama ko silang lahat sa premiere night namin in Trinoma bukas, Monday, 8 PM. Very proud ako sa trabaho ko rito. Actually, yung mama ko, after manalo akong best actress sa International Filmfest Manhattan, sabi niya, okay naman daw na magpa-sexy ako kasi it’s part of my job as an actress, so tanggap na niya. Ang hindi naka-take ng love scenes ko rito sa ‘Tisay’ was my Lebanese boyfriend. Ayaw niya, so nag-break na lang kami.”

Aside from this, Nathalie has also finished a new drama about philandering OFW’s, “Balatkayo”, where she plays Polo Ravales’ mistress when Polo is married to Aiko Melendez. “Our scenes ni Polo were shot in Dubai on location. Yung wife niyang si Aiko naman works in Singapore. I’m lucky puro magagandang movies ang nagawa ko this year.

Ronald Arguelles, head of Cinema One, says he and Star Cinema execs have seen “Tisay” and it’s quite well made. They also enjoyed Nathalie’s performance and Star Cinema is now asking to meet with her for a possible project in the future.
