The band’s other members are guitarist JP del Mundo (management & information technology graduate), bassist Gab Palanca (psychology major) and drummer Nash Ignacio (management engineering graduate). Ace composed most of the songs in their album and he started his fascination with music as a child when he took classical piano lessons and guitar lessons.
“In high school, everyone in my batch was getting into bands so I joined the bandwagon,” he says. “I became very comfortable with the keyboard as it’s easier to play and write songs in it. Having keyboards in a band gives your music a richer texture that can easily grab the listener’s attention. The piano also adds more emotion to a mellow song.”
Their band is now managed by Rico Blanco, who also directed their music videos. Their album “Screenburn” has 12 new original songs: “The Light”, “Mundo”, “Showbiz”, “Machine Heart”, “Bones”, “Tiwala”, “Meant to Be”, “Sabay” (the carrier single), “Elisa”, “OK”, “So Long” and “Glass”. How are their songs different from those of other bands?

The album “Screenburn” from Never the Strangers is now available in record stores and also for downloading online.
