Lucita Soriano passed due to cardiac arrest and respiratory failure at the Pacific Global Medical Center in QC at the age of 74. One of the top kontrabidas of the 60's was her husband, the late Rodolfo "Boy" Garcia. Their two sons, Marco Polo and Garry, also tried acting before they moved to the States. Boy passed in 1998 and Marco Polo, in 2010. Lucita remarried in 2009 to Michael Mayer, a retired American engineer. She started as an extra at Sampaguita Pictures and LVN Pictures in the late 50s and got her big break when she became runnerup to the late Mina Aragon in the search for the leading lady of Premiere Productions' "I Believe". Her real name is Lucita Adriano, but she used her mom's family name, Soriano. She did several roles as kontrabida and later did some lead roles. On TV, she was in GMA's "Valiente" that ran for five years and ABS-CBN's original "Pangako Sa'Yo" that ran for two years. Let's pray for the repose of their souls.
