“Hindi ako magsisinungaling,” he says. “Nagtatampo talaga ako. Kasi ang dami ngang nakapansin, kung sino yung runner up, siya pang nabigyan ng ganitong project. Although nagpapasalamat din ako kasi lagi akong kasama sa ‘Wattpad Presents’. Good exposure din ito kaya lang, it’s limited.”
But Vin should not feel bad because TV5 has given him some very good projects after he won in “Artista Academy”. He played important roles in “Misibis Bay”, “Beki Boxer”, “Jasmine” and with Nora Aunor in “Never Say Goodbye”. But it so happened that it was Mark’s exposure with Shaira Mae that got higher ratings in “Wattpad Presents” so it’s not surprising that it’s their tandem that is now given a good break in “Baker King”.
As for Vin, he and his real life girlfriend, Sophie Albert, currently stars in “Marry You”, the featured story in “Wattpad Presents” this week, 9 PM until Friday. Vin wants to clarify that he is not sore or mad at Mark.“Since we started in ‘Artista Academy’, we’ve been the best of friends and I love that guy,” he says. "When I learned siya ang ‘Baker King’, nagulat ako pero nangibabaw yung pagiging masaya ko for him. I'm really happy for him and I wish mag-hit ang show nila.”
