Empress started as a child actress on GMA-7 in “Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin” then moved to ABS-CBN as the dying girl in the 2002 movie “Nine Mornings” that starred Piolo Pascual and Donita Rose and for which she won a best child actress award. As a teen actress, she did “Super Inggo”, did several MMK episodes and starred in her own teleseryes, like “Rosalka” and “Mundo Man ay Magunaw”. She just returned to GMA for “Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali?”

The reports about her pregnancy started as a blind item but folks concluded that it’s true when she posted this cryptic message in social media: “Sometimes the thing you most want does not happen and sometimes the thing you never expected happens to you.”
She admitted it took a while before her parents were able to accept her condition, especially her mom, but they’re now supportive of her, including her Ate Princess Schuck, who also joined showbiz before.
