Geoff Eigenmann Not In A Hurry To Have A New Girlfriend After His Breakup With Carla Abellana

WHAT DOES Geoff Eigenmann have in common with his two leading ladies in “Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali?”, the newest GMA afternoon soap that replaces “Ang Lihim ni Annasandra” on February 9? Answer: they are all transferees from ABS-CBN.

“But this is the first time that all of us get to work with each other,” he says. “Sa story, first girlfriend ko si Empress but si Max ang napangasawa ko, then something happens sa marriage namin ni Max at bumalik ako kay Empress. I always enjoy working with new co-stars kasi may naipapakita silang bago at natututo rin ako from them, kaya masaya kami lahat sa taping of this show.”





His last show was “Adarna”, last year yet, and it was in that movie that he was linked to co-star Kylie Padilla. “Hindi naman totoo yun. Up to now, I’m still very much single. At enjoy ako sa pagiging single. Hindi nga ako nanliligaw, e. I don’t want to rush into another relationship.”

Looks like he hasn’t moved on after his breakup with Carla Abellana? “Nakapag-move on na ako, kaya lang, ayokong madaliin masabi lang na may bago na akong girlfriend. I think the right person will come at the right time. Hindi mo dapat pwersahin. But I think I’m ready to fall in love again. I’m going out naman with friends, with family, but with no one yet in particular as a regular date.”

Valentine’s Day is coming soon. Doesn’t he feel lonely that he’s not with a special someone? “Not really. I’m not the type na maghahanap masabi lang may ka-date sa Valentine. I’m secure with myself and I will survive Valentine being alone.”
