Ram Revilla killed by own brother?

THE KILLING OF RAM REVILLA, 23, (Ramgen Bautista in real life) took a bizarre turn when cops learned that the murder was planned by his own younger sibling, Ramon Joseph, 18, who paid hired killers to do it. This was done allegedly in cooperation with their sister, Maria Ramona (who earlier claimed she was taken hostage by the killers.) Apparently, their dad, Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr., 84, took this very badly and had to be rushed to the St. Luke’s Hospital due to high blood pressure.

The whole Revilla family is now in a difficult and painful situation as they mourn for Ram’s passing and the sad fact that his own siblings plotted his murder. Sen. Bong Revilla offered P500,000 for the arrest of the killers without knowing that their other siblings are involved. He declared that they don’t believe that Joseph had anything to do with the case until it’s proven beyond reasonable doubt. Ram, Joseph and Ramona are children of Ramon Sr. with Gennalyn Magsaysay. “Our family is as shocked as everyone,” he said. “One member is yet to be buried while another one is implicated. This is a tragic death made even more tragic by the fact another family member is implicated.”

Charges have been filed against Ramon Joseph and the two killer suspects, Michael Altea and Roy Francis Tolisora, now all in police custory. Cops say the motive for the killing was “personal”, but no details were given. If it’s true, this then is really an extreme case of sibling rivalry. Shades of the biblical Cain and Abel.
