Showbiz Portal: Facial restoration an ordeal for Janelle Manahan, girlfriend of murdered Ram Revilla

FOLKS ASK us if Janelle Manahan, the girlfriend of the murdered Ram Revilla, is a relative of ABS-CBN’s Mr. M or Johnny Manahan as Janelle was with their Star Circle Quest. Mr. M says he doesn’t know as they have a big family and he doesn’t know all his relatives. Janelle was hit by bullets under her left eye and on her right shoulder on the night of the murder on Oct. 28. She suffered from several facial fractures and she’s now undergoing a series of surgical operations for facial restoration.

Her doctors deemed it best that she not be informed right away what really happened to Ram as this will cause more trauma for her. Each time she inquired about him, they just said he’s also undergoing treatment. On Nov. 5, she was finally told the truth and this caused her to cry nonstop, resulting into nose bleeds. She has a hard time accepting the fact that her boyfriend is gone.

A primary witness to the murder, security has been tightened around to insure her safety. They’re really taking good care of her so she can later give all the information she knows on what really happened on the night of Ram’s brutal killing. The Revilla family is shouldering all her hospital and medical expenses.

Meantime, people are wondering why Ramon Joseph Revilla, the accused younger brother who’s allegedly the mastermind, is said to be getting special treatment at the Paranaque city jail. It’s said he even has a personal yaya to attend to his needs inside the prison.
