SEN. LOREN LEGARDA was in Vietnam a few days ago for the UN Disaster Risk Reduction conference since her advocacy is climate change and adaptation measures. It was there where she was informed that she will be featured in an international documentary with another environmental champion, former US VP Al Gore who did the acclaimed global warming docu, “An Inconvenient Truth”. Loren herself has produced two docus on the subject: “Tag-ulan sa Tag-araw” and “
Buhos”. Also to be included is Indonesia pres. Bambang Yudhoyono who also strongly advocates adaptation measures for climate change. The UN plans to complete the docu showing the adverse effects of climate change before 2011 ends. No doubt this is another feather in Loren’s already well decorated cap.
