“It’s a privilege to working with a topnotch comedian like Vhong Navarro and also working with my own dad na kilala rin sa husay sa comedy in this movie,” she says. “Kailangan talagang mag-level up ako nang hindi nila ako maiwanan in entertaining the audience.”
Winwyn’s career really got a big boost after she won as the first Pinay Reina HispanoAmericana last year in Colombia. She has now also just renewed her contract as an exclusive artist of GMA Network.
“I’m very happy to stay as a Kapuso,” she says. “Sobrang saya ko kasi management is now doing its
best to give me a new program na talagang babagay sa akin.”
Why kind of show would she like to do? “I want to challenge myself and try doing an action role na mala-Lara Croft or Scarlett Johansson. Kung may magandang vehicle that will require me to do action scenes, I’d really love to do that.”With regard to her lovelife, her romance with Mark Herras is going strong. But they’re not in a hurry to walk down the aisle anytime soon. “Pareho kaming marami pang balak na ibang gawin sa buhay so we’re not yet ready to settle down. That can definitely wait.”
