HOW HEART EVANGELISTA COPES WITH BEING COOPED UP INSIDE THE HOUSE DURING THIS CORONA LOCKDOWN

HEART EVANGELISTA confesses that she experiences anxiety attacks every now and then while the whole world is still reeling in the midst of this corona lockdown.

She posted on her Instagram account: “On some days, battling anxiety gets really tough. I just keep telling myself that as long as I keep pushing and fighting my demons, my happy heart will keep beating."

Psychologists say it’s but natural to feel some fear and anxiety, not necessarily panic, in uncertain times like the one we are currently facing now.

Being cooped up inside the house for so long can really be quite stressful, but we can cope with this through mechanisms that will help calm our minds and divert our worried minds to other things.

For Heart, things get even tougher because she’s alone here in Manila while her husband, Chiz Escudero, is based in Sorsogon, where he is the current governor, so they really miss each other so much. She says that whenever she feel stressed, she just turns to painting, which she says can be very relaxing.

In addition to this, she also continues to do humanitarian work in helping in the fund-raising operations for our health workers and frontliners to get more PPEs, and in distributing relief goods to the poor and needy people badly affected by the lockdown.

Just recently, she also gave away boxes of the Vitamin C tablets she’s endorsing to health workers to help increase their body’s resistance and immune system.

“They are our unsung heroes in this pandemic,” says Heart. “I will also be sending some Vitamin C to my husband to help him and the people of Sorsogon. I’m really hoping and praying that this health crisis gripping the whole world now will soon be over.”

Meantime, her celebrity friends quickly sent Heart some soothing words of encouragement, telling her not to lose hope and to stay strong, be firm in her faith in the Lord that everything will eventually be all right and don’t ever let things get her down: Laban lang!

Her friends include Angelika de la Cruz, Iza Calzado, Pia Wurtzbach and Kristine Hermosa.

Heart says one thing that inspires her is the very positive feedback she’s getting from the followers of her vlog.

They enjoy watching her doing TikTok videos, like one hilarious video where she is shown doing TikTok while walking on her treadmill in her killer high heels.
