ACTRESS-SINGER EMMANUELLE VERA SHINES AS THE LEADING LADY IN 'TAYO SA HULING BUWAN NG TAON'

EMMANUELLE VERA shines as the leading lady in “Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon”, the sequel to the indie hit “Kuwento Nating Dalawa”. A lot of people think she’s a total newcomer but it turns out she’s been around for sometime now.

She started when she was 15 years old as a Star Magic talent in 2010 in their youth-oriented show, “Shout Out”, which didn’t last long on the air. She also played a mean girl to Sarah Geronimo in “Idol”.

She has since appeared in many ABS-CBN shows like various episodes of “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, and many soaps like “100 Days to Heaven”, “Luna Sangre”, “Wildflower”, “Ang Probinsyano”, “Bagani”.

On GMA-7, she has appeared in “Magpakailanman”, “The Stepdaughters” and “Inday Will Always Love You”. Emmanuelle is also a singer and a songwriter. She has released her own album with Universal Records with six original songs. She joined “The Voice Philippines” and got to the Battle round before being eliminated.

Emmanuelle now uses only Vera as her screen name and that’s how she is billed in “Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon”. She gives a very touching performance in the movie as a young writer who is torn between her love for two men, Nicco Manalo and Alex Vincent Medina. We believe that given the right push, she has a bright future ahead of her in local showbusiness.
