Janine Gutierrez New Movie, 'Elise', Is Graded A By CEB & Widely Praised By All Those Who've Seen It In The Press Preview

Janine Gutierrez' ELISE gets a GRADE A

JANINE GUTIERREZ is understandably having butterflies in her stomach as her movie, “Elise”, where she plays the title role no less, is opening in theaters today. All those who have seen it in its press preview at Wild Sound and at the Gateway Mall premiere are praising the movie and saying it’s certainly worth watching. No wonder it got a Grade A from the Cinema Evaluation Board. It is believed that good word of mouth endorsement from satisfied viewers can also help it obtain long legs at the box office.

In Janine’s intimate solo presscon hosted by her manager, Leo Dominguez, everyone knows her leading man in “Elise” is Enchong Dee, but the press keeps on asking her about Rayver Cruz so PRO Jun Lalin had to remind them that Rayver is not a part at all of the “Elise” cast. But the writers were persistent and asked Janine who between her ex-BF Elmo Magalona or Rayver is nearer to her heart and she answered that it’s Rayver.

So you can draw your own conclusions from that, even if Janine keeps on saying that she and Rayver have not yet given a concrete label to their relationship. Janine is also asked what Rayver plans to do for her on Valentine’s Day, but now that Rayver’s mom just passed away, their family is still in mourning so they cannot celebrate it like normal lovers do.

“Besides, we’re both busy,” Janine says. “He’s taping for ‘Asawa Ko Karibal Ko’ which is a big hit, and I’ve started taping for my new soap, ‘Dragon Lady’, with Tom Rodriguez.”

Janine is one movie star who is environmentally aware. She’s an advocate of a clean and green Philippines. “We should all help in keeping our environment a safe place to live in,” she says. “I’ve learned that this daunting task really starts with simple steps - re-use, shop consciously, dispose of your trash properly, and say no to single use plastics. The biggest gift we can give to future generations is to leave Mother Earth as a better than we found it.”
