“All Souls Night” is directed by no less than two directors, Aloy Adlawan and Jules Katanyag, who have both written hit horror flicks before. Aloy directed “Signos”, a scary movie with environmental overtones that won best foreign film in the 2007 Lone Star International Filmfest in Texas and the best international thriller award at the 2008 New York International Indepenent Film and Video Festival. His “Ouija” won the best screenplay award for the 10th Gawad Pasado, and he also the script of other horror flicks like “Sundo”, “T2”, “Tumbok”, “Third Eye”, and various episodes of the “Shake Rattle and Roll” movie series.
As for Jules Katanyag, he wrote the TV series, “Bampirella” in 2011, segments of “Shake Rattle & Roll 12 and 13” and currently, “Victor Magtanggol” starring Alden Richards. As a director, his “Si Magdalola at ang mga Gago” won the Special Jury Prize in Cinema One Originals Filmfest in 2016.“It is because of their very impressive credentials that I accepted to do ‘All Souls Night’,” says Andi Eigenmann, who won the FAMAS best actress award in 2016 for the thriller, “Angela Markado”. “With them behind the movie, I knew from the start that I’m in good hands. And they didn’t disappoint me kasi maganda talaga ang ‘All Souls Night’. There’s a sense of dread in its atmosphere throughout the movie that will surely spook the viewers and will certainly please all those who love to get a good scare.”
“All Souls Night” also stars Yayo Aguila, Allan Paule and new child star, Lhian Gimeno. It opens in theaters on October 31, the day before Undas or All Saints Day.
