James Reid And Nadine Lustre At Their Most Daring, More Mature Best In Their New Movie, 'Never Not Love You', Opening On March 31

JAMES REID and Nadine Lustre’s new movie, “Never Not Love You”, will open in theaters on March 31, Black Saturday, and it will set the screen on fire with their daring love scenes. How daring is it? “Very,” says James. “Viewer discretion is advised since even the language is daring.”

“Basta matapang siya,” adds Nadine. “This is not the typical romcom that we’ve done before. It’s something different, something more dangerous I guess. Direk Antoinette Jadaone told us to improvise while shooting our scenes, especially those shot on location in London, as she wants the process of writing the story to be organic. We have to level up as a love team and it’s something that’s more real, something that’s more raw and more true to life for us. I believe, ‘yung mga generation now, they’re more open-minded about a lot of things, and they’re starting to embrace what’s happening now, at kung ano’ng mga bago. Mas fearless na po kasi sila ngayon eh.”

Since they’re fearless, what can they say about living in? James’ answer is short and curt: “It’s fun!”

Nadine gives a more lengthy explanation: “As long as you’re both secure and everything is working well for you, fine. It shouldn’t be an issue at all. If it’s affecting you in a bad way, then you should stop. But if you’re good in it, why not, di ba? If that’s what they want, and they’re not stepping on anyone’s toes, then why should it be bad?”

And what can they say about marriage?  “Marriage is a choice,” says Nadine. “There are teenagers today who are recklessly in love and hindi po nila alam if they’re making the right choice. Parang feeling nila ‘yun na ang forever nila but at the end of the day, they realize it’s a wrong choice pala. Sometimes it works, but I don’t really know how to answer that.”
