Ivan Dorschner Happy To Support Dennis Trillo In 'The One That Got Away' As He Knows He'll Learn A Lot From An Accomplished Actor Like Dennis

IVAN DORSCHNER is glad to have a new show as followup to “Meant to Be”. He plays Dennis Trillo’s best friend and confidante in the new GMA primetime show, “The One That Got Away”. Is he okay with playing a supporting role when he’s already one of the leads in “Meant to Be”?

“That’s just fine with me,” he says. “I’m just thankful to GMA for opening many doors for me to show my talent in acting. I will forever be thankful to them for giving a new direction to my career. Dito sa ‘TOTGA’, maganda ang role ko as Inigo Sandoval, a rich guy and gentleman of leisure na ayaw magtrabaho as he’d rather just rely on the big trust fund left to him by his parents. I welcome the chance to work with Dennis Trillo in this show. He’s one of the most accomplished actors in the industry today. Most of my scenes are with him kasi best friends nga kami and I know I will learn a lot from him about acting. I also have scenes with Rhian Ramos and Max Collins, but not with Lovi Poe.”

He’s proud to say he now speaks Tagalog more fluently. “When I went home to the U.S. during the Christmas break, nagulat sila kasi kahit sa bahay, nagsasalita ako ng Tagalog. Even on TV, I watch mostly local shows para masanay ako sa sound ng Tagalog and its right pronunciation. It’s not easy, pero nagagawa ko naman. Pag aktor ka working dito sa Pinas, it’s important na matutuhan mo yung language dito.”
