Andre Paras' Height At 6'5" Is More Of A Liability For Him As His Co-Stars Have To Step On An Apple Box To Reach His Level

ANDRE PARAS is so lucky as he has two new shows no less. He is in the weeknight primetime show, “Sherlock Jr.” with Ruru Madrid that will replace “Super Ma’am” on January 28, and he’s also in the new telefantasya, “Sirkus” with Mikoy Morales and Mikee Quintos that will replace “Road Trip” on January 21. Aside from this, he’s also a regular comedian in the Sunday noontime show, “Sunday Pinasaya”.

“I’m really thankful to GMA-7 para sa tiwala nila sa akin,” he says. “Kaya naman I’m really doing my best in every show assigned to me para hindi ako mapahiya sa kanila.”

Andre turned 22 last November 1 and his height at 6’5” is sometimes a liability since not all Pinoys are that tall. In “Sirkus”, his co-star, Mikoy Morales, has to stand on an apple box whenever they have scenes together. Although he has played lead roles in “Half Sisters” and “That’s My Amboy” and has won a number of most promising and best breakthrough performance awards, he has yet to achieve the stardom that he deserves. Maybe he should find a way to endear himself more to masa viewers.
