Sid Lucero Willing To Work Again With Ex-GF Alessandra De Rossi, Won't Talk About Her Current BF Marc Abaya

SID LUCERO and Alessandra de Rossi became an item after they did the movie, “Mauban”, but it didn’t last very long and it was soon reported they had a bad break up. Are they okay now? “Nagkita kami sa last Urian Awards and we said hello naman,” Sid says.

Alex has a big hit in “Kita Kita” and the movie she herself wrote, “12”, got praised and also did well at the tills. “I know,” says Sid. “And I’m really happy for her.”

Will he be willing to work with Alex again? “Kung kukunin ba niya ako, okay lang. We’re professionals, so why not?”

Is he aware that Alex is now on with someone? “Yes, kaibigan ko si Marc (Abaya, Alex’ alleged BF), but I don’t ask them about it. It’s not my thing.”

He currently plays a challenging role in “Smaller and Smaller Circles” as a Jesuit priest who helps in investigating a series of killings in the Payatas dumpsite. How is it? “It’s quite a challenge. The film can be controversial because it tackles corruption, even in the church. I’m sure the viewers will have different kinds of reactions about it. But everything portrayed in it is really a reflection of what’s happening around us right now. I enjoyed working with the ensemble of actors included in this film, including Nonie Buencamino as the older priest I’m working, Fr. Gus Saenz, then Bembol Roco and Christopher de Leon as the NBI Chief and his deputy, Ricky Davao as the Cardinal, TJ Trinidad, Alex Medina and Carla Humphries. Our director, Raya Martin, is very young and talented. Our movie got an A from the Cinema Evaluation Board and got good reviews when it was shown at the Busan International Filmfest recently.”
