“Talented naman talaga si Nar kaya deserving siyang tulungan para mas makilala ng publiko,” she says.
And now, she is able to convince Quantum Films producer Atty. Joji Villanueva-Alonso to get the rights to Nar’s new song, “Natapos Na”, and use it as one of the two theme songs of their movie, “All Of You”.
The other theme song is “Dying Inside” by Darren Espanto that hit the number one spot in iTunes even if it’s just a revival of a song originally penned by Danny and Edgard Van Passel. Darren gives it his own memorable rendition, but it’s “Natapos Na” that really hits the nail right on the head as the ‘hugot’ song as its lyrics really suits the narrative after Jen and Derek Ramsay broke up in the story.
“Bagay na bagay talaga ang kanta sa nangyari sa characters nina Jennylyn and Derek sa movie,” says Atty. Joji. “Kaya when I heard it, sabi ko, ang ganda ng lyrics, so sige, we will use it as one of the theme songs kasi swak na swak doon sa eksenang nag-break up sina Jen at Derek. So, we’ve launched a new trailer for ‘All Of You’ using ‘Natapos Na’, which Nar himself wrote and interpreted.”
We’ve heard the song and it has fairly catchy lyrics and melody. We think it has a great potential to win in the best original song category come the filmfest awards night.
