Alexander Lee Can't Help But Shed Tears When He Sees The Multitude Of 'My Korean Jagiya' Fans Waiting For Him & Heart Evangelista In Bacolod

ALEXANDER LEE was awed when he saw all the fans of “My Korean Jagiya” trooping to their mall show in Bacolod where they joined the Masskara Festival. He wrote in his social media account: “Our mall show in Bacolod was a very shocking, overwhelming and memorable experience for me. Words couldn’t express how we felt by the time we entered SM Bacolod. I was totally unprepared for such warm welcome, especially since I wasn’t expecting that MANY people to show up. I won’t forget the time we went down the escalator... As we were going down, the number of the massive crowd was revealed and that made Heart and I speechless and tearful. “We were so surprised that we looked at each other and were just overwhelmed. I had my sunglasses on at first to cover my tired eyes but I took it off not believing what I was seeing. We couldn’t believe that everyone was there for ‘My Korean Jagiya’. At that moment, I was holding back my tears so hard and thought ‘all the hard work was worth it.’ I’m just so glad that MKJ is bringing so much joy to the audience and I would love to give all the glory to God for giving me such good project. Even when we were in the airport waiting for our flight back to Manila, we were still trying to digest what had happened. We are so thankful to everyone for showing their love and support for us.”

Xander says his entire stay here in our country is something he will treasure in his heart for the rest of his life. “You know, when I first came to the Philippines, I was so nervous and worried about whether the project I’ll do here will attract the Filipino audience. At the beginning, I was just happy enough that everyone in this project is so nice. It’s like I made a new family in the Philippines. But then God is so good that I’m given more than expected – good ratings. Just makes me even happier. And now, we’ve done mall shows in various cities in the Philippines and everywhere we go, I can feel the very warm welcome of everyone. I feel so loved by Filipinos everywhere and for that, I will forever be thankful.”

Xander has also fulfilled one of his dreams since he got here to Manila: riding a jeepney. “In an episode, I’m shown riding a jeepney and I’m even shown making sabit sa entrance ng jeepney, which they told me is how you ride the vehicle, Filipino style. I really enjoyed it kaya abangan nyo sa ‘My Korean Jagiya’.”
