Jennylyn Mercado's Entry To The Metro Filmfest, 'All Of You', Has Finished Its Principal Photography. Will It Win Her Another Best Actress Trophy Like Her Past Entries?

JENNYLYN MERCADO’s entry in the Metro-Manila Filmfest is now officially titled “All of You”. When it was first entered in the festival, her leading man was supposed to be Jericho Rosales who was paired with her in “Walang Forever” in the 2015 filmfest, but he begged off so he was replaced by Derek Ramsay, who was her leading man in “English Only, Please” in the 2014 filmfest. All of them won acting awards for these movies.

The story of “All of You” is about a man and a woman who meet each other through an internet dating app. They get to meet in person and end up in bed on their first meeting. This is shown in its teaser trailer so let’s see where the film, produced by Quantum Films and directed by Dan Villegas (who also did “English Only Please” and “Walang Forever”), will take them from there.

Off cam, Jen’s relationship with Dennis remains going strong. Dennis is very close to Alex Jazz,
Jen’s love son with Patrick Garcia. When the boy had a family day affair in his school recently, it was Dennis who attended it as his father figure and they look like one happy family. They posted their pictures together on the internet and the response from Jen’s fans are very encouraging, thanking Dennis for being a good dad to Alex Jazz.

Meanwhile, Jericho apologized to Jen for backing out. “Hindi lang ako preparado to do a project this year,” he says. His father died while he was shooting in March the movie “Luck at First Sight” with Bela Padilla, which was a big flop. “Ang daming nangyari sa akin. Parang nahirapan ako. Nag-iba ang direction ng mga gusto kong gawin. Kilala ko ang sarili ko. Ayokong maging iresponsable at pahirap sa set. I’m just being honest kaysa I’d pretend na okay ako. But I’d really like to work again with Jennylyn someday kasi isa siya sa pinakamahusay na artistang nakatrabaho ko.”
