Regine Velasquez To Sign Up With Viva. Is She Leaving GMA Network Like Her Hubby Ogie Alcasid Did?

REGINE VELASQUEZ will be signing a contract with Viva Artists Agency tomorrow. We got the invitation to attend the affair but we had to decline because the traffic going to Ortigas Center, where Viva’s office is located, is one helluva nightmare these days. We now only go to events in the QC area to make our life peaceful.

So the question in most people’s minds is: Will Regine be leaving GMA-7 soon? Tongues wagged even more when she was seen in her photos posted on social media where she is in the company of Kapamilya stars like Vice Ganda, Erik Santos, Karla Estrada, Jed Madela, Angeline Quinto and other stars who just came from GMA also, like Jaya, Jolina Magdangal and Kyla.

But someone told me the reason for the photo was simply because Regine came with her husband Ogie Alcasid, who’s a judge in ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’. Our source says “Malabong lumipat si Regine kasi kare-renew lang niya ng contract niya sa GMA and she has two existing shows, ‘Mulawin Vs. Ravena’ where she plays Inang Kalikasan and she’s also hosting ‘Sarap Diva’. Yung contract niya sa Viva is with the artist management agency for projects outside of television.”
