Luis Alandy Is Paolo Ballesteros' Leading Man In 'Die Beautiful', To Wed His Non-Showbiz Fiancee In February

LUIS ALANDY plays the man who is truly in love with Paolo Ballesteros as Trisha in “Die Beautiful”. “I’m proud to be part of this movie that won awards abroad,” he says. “This is my second time to work with Director Jun Lana after ‘Anino sa Likod ng Buwan’, kunsaan nanalo rin ng acting award ang kapareha ko, si LJ Reyes. Sana, kung gagawa uli ako kay Direk Jun, ako naman ang mabigyan ng challenging role na puede ring magbigay sa’kin ng award.”

Luis is currently preparing for his church wedding with non-showbiz fiancee Joselle Fernandez. The date is on February 17 but he’d rather keep the other details private. “Nakaka-stress din ang preparation but we’re doing it together. Magastos, maraming dapat bayaran na hindi maiiwasan. But you just lift it all up to the Lord and expect more blessings from Him.”


At 36, he’s really ready to settle down. “Ako na lang ang single sa aming mga magkakapatid.”

Did they consider living in? “No. Hindi kami ganun. We value the sanctity and importance of the sacrament of matrimony. My wife to be’s family is conservative. And also very supportive, pati sa pagiging artista ko. Alam nilang this is the career that fulfills me.”
