“I just want to say that I am happy and relieved to be able to work with a lady who is very professional,” she says. “We are very civil towards each other. She is, I hope you don’t mind me saying this, Marina, I’m not being showbiz, she is a good woman and I wish her all the happiness. I’m thankful that she’s taking good care of my children. Thank you, Marina for being a good stepmom to them.”
Marina replies: “We are both professional and whatever it is that happened, matagal na ‘yun. Nandito tayo para magtrabaho, di ba? Thank you, Snooky for saying that. Both of your children naman are mabait and very well behaved.”
Snooky adds: “Right, everything is done and over with, and we have both moved on. I am with my own partner now (a businessman) and I am happy and you are happy. Nata-touch lang talaga ako at lumalambot ang puso ko kapag nakikita ko yung mga anak ko na masaya and that’s also because you are good to them.”
Snooky’s daughters are Samantha, 24, and Sachi, 20, now both college graduates and working in the advertising industry. Both of them do not want to be in showbiz. “They have other interests unlike me who doesn’t want to do anything but act. I was only three years old when I started in showbiz at ako talaga ang nagpumilit na mag-artista. I let my children do what they want at nakikita ko naman na they are happy with their own careers.”
Snooky plays Kristoffer Martin’s mother in “Hahamakin ang Lahat” while Marina is the sister of Eula Valdez who raises Joyce Ching as her own daughter. The show is now seen on GMA-7’s Afternoon Prime replacing “Sinungaling Mong Puso”.
