Meet The New Regal Babies 2016: Chanel Morales, Danielle Lee, Part One

MOTHER LILY and daughter Roselle Monteverde launched their new talents called Regal Babies Batch 2016: Chanel Morales, Danielle Lee, David Licauco and Jerico Ejercito. All four are now talents of talent manager Arnold Vegafria’s ALV Talent Circuit.

Chanel is a runner up at TV5’s Artista Academy Talent Search where she played lead roles in some “Wattpad Presents” episodes. “I no longer have a contract with them,” says the charmer from Bacolod. “My last acting job with them was in ‘Parang Normal Activity’. My parents told me to just quit showbiz and go back to school. I already enrolled at the Center for Aesthetic Studies then Sir Arnold came and offered to manage me as one of his talents. So heto, I’m now under contract with Regal.”

Chanel also sings and dances well. She has proven she can also act well in the indie film, “Junakis”, where she played a young unwed mom with Meryll Soriano as her mother and Pilar Pilapil as he grandmother. “I’m really hoping mabigyan ako ng good projects ni Mother Lily,” she prays.

DANIELLE LEE is the younger sister of model-TV host Divine Lee. She’s also from TV5. Born on October 24, 1990, she studied grade and high school at Brent and now has a college degree from the Entrepreneurial School of Asia in Libis. Wilma Galvante, who was then with TV5, got her to play contravida to Eula Caballero in “Cinderella Story” of “Wattpad Presents”. She was supposed to be launched as one of the leads in the local adaptation of “Pretty Little Liars”. “Nakapag-tape na kami ng 5 episodes then all of a sudden, we’re told shelved na yung project so all felt sad,” she says.

She has taken up a lot of acting workshops from the late Amable Quiambao to Laurice Guillen’s daughter Ana Feleo and she’s now raring to do a good dramatic movie under Regal. She can also sing and dance. Is she willing to go sexy? “Why not? But it will depend on the material and my role,” she says. “If it’s worth it, I think makakaya ko naman. Pero kung hindi, wag na lang.”

She’s currently loveless but admits she has had two BF’s. “One was puppy love lang,” she says. “But yung isa, serious. Kaya lang, he had to study abroad, so we grew apart.”
