Bea Alonzo Back With A New Movie & A New Soap After Being Idle For Quite A Time

BEA ALONZO’S last teleserye, “Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon”, was still in 2014 while her last movie, “A Second Chance”, was shown last year yet. Now, after being idle for more than half a year, she’s suddenly busy with a new movie and a new teleserye.

Her new movie is entitled “How to Be Yours” and it will pair her for the first time with ex-BF Gerald Anderson, under the direction of certified hitmaker, Dan Villegas. They play two young people who have to sacrifice their love for each other to prioritize their own personal dreams and ambitions.
To help promote the movie, this early, there are reports that Bea and Gerald might rekindle their old romance that happened in 2010, and with Gerald admitting on TV interviews that he’s the reason why their relationship didn’t prosper then since he’s immature and stupid. This, even if Bea, whose last BF was Zanjoe Marudo, is also currently being linked with Paulo Avelino after they were seen together in a bar on a date.

Bea’s new teleserye is “The Second Wife”, where she plays the title role. Just like other hit love triangle soaps such as “Two Wives”, “Legal Wife” and “Tubig at Langis”, the movie is about a man in love with two women. Ian Veneracion plays the husband and his first wife is Iza Calzado.

It’s the first time with Bea to work with both Ian and Iza, so she’s understandably excited about it. This is under the direction of Jerry Sineneng who will shoot the scenes of Bea with Ian in a yet to be identified foreign country. The show will also star Enchong Dee, Julia Barretto, Tirso Cruz III, Irma Adlawan and former TV5 property, Vin Abrenica, in his first teleserye for ABS-CBN.
