Kristine Hermosa, A Certified Kapamilya Baby, Is Now Officially A Kapuso In The New Sitcom 'Hay Bahay'

KRISTINE HERMOSA used to be one of ABS-CBN’s top young stars in the late 90s doing hit TV shows like “Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako” and “Pangako Sa’Yo” and movies like “Forevermore” and “All My Life”. She married Oyo Sotto in 2011 and turned her back on showbiz. They now have three kids and she’s also pregnant again.

Kristine is now making a showbiz comeback and, this time, she has transferred to GMA-7. She’ll co-star with husband Oyo and her father in law, Vic Sotto, in the new sitcom, “Hay Bahay!”, that will replace “Vampire ang Daddy Ko” on the Kapuso network starting June 19. Also in the cast are Ai Ai de las Alas, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.

Kristine’s last regular show with ABS-CBN was “Noah” with Piolo Pascual in 2010, where she played the role of a diwata. She’s better known as a drama actress but this time, she’s obviously opting to do something light in a sitcom like “Hay Bahay”.

Actually, comedy is not something new to her as she has also co-starred with her own father in law as Faye in the comedies they did in the four “Enteng Kabisote” movies that were all hits in past Metro-Manila Filmfest. Now 32 years old, does this mean that Kristine is leaving Star Magic, her management company since she joined showbiz, for good?
