Kris asked netizens to protect her from all the bashing she’s getting in social media, but instead of responding favorably to her request, more netizens pulverized her posting the amount (in millions) she paid each year to the BIR from 2008 to 2015. A lot of people felt that such a move didn’t help Kris’ cause at all. It’s really her duty to pay her taxes anyway so, no thanks to her. But there are those who sided with her and said she really should be pitied because she’s actually a poor little rich girl. So rich in material wealth but loveless and so poor when it comes to finding the right man who’ll love her for what she is.
Because of the negative reactions to her, Pres. Pinoy then revealed that the Abu Sayyaf threatens to kidnap Kris and one of her sons. Kris herself said this is the reason why she didn’t renew her contract with ABS. But instead of gaining sympathy, their haters said it’s all a big palabas to cover up the helicopter issue. They add that if it’s true there’s a threat on her, then Pnoy should not drag her to go to distant provinces anymore to campaign for Pnoy’s candidates. Obviously, they say, this abduction plot is just a fabrication to gain sympathy for Kris, but it didn’t work.
