Maganda yung role ko in ‘Juan Happy Love Story’ as Bob, childhood best friend ni Heart na secretly in love with her. I went abroad at yumaman ako roon because of a special tea I invented, called Tea-gasin that helps men become more macho. Gagawin ko ang lahat para mabawi si Heart from Dennis. Kontrabida ako pero comedy ang dating.”
We tell him he gave one of the best male performances last year in the gay indie film, “I Love You Thank You”. “Salamat. Memorable making that movie for me kasi we shot it in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia guerilla style. Minsan, nage-emote pa kami, e nandiyan na yung mga pulis.”
Now happily married to Katz Saga, he is a doting dad to their son, Jace Skyler, who was born abroad. What’s his wife’s most endearing quality? “She brought me back to God and she has the capacity na patawarin ako nang paulit-ulit. Hindi siya bumibitiw sa akin kahit may nagiging pagkukulang ako.”
We know his manager, Noel Ferrer, doesn’t want us to talk about his video scandal, but how did his wife take it? “Pinag-pray namin. Alam naman niya, matagal nang nangyari yun, bago pa kami. Matigas kasi ulo ko. I got a lot of warnings na wag kang gagawa ng ganyan, pero ginawa ko pa rin. So lesson learned.” Then he asked the press people interviewing him: “Napanood nyo ba?”
Almost everyone said yes. And he says, “O, e di close na tayo!” and we all had a good laugh about it.
