Allen Dizon Joins The Cast Of 'Princess In The Palace' As Love Interest Of Eula Valdes

AFTER WINNING another international best actor in the Silk Road International Filmfest in Dublin, Ireland for the movie “Iadya Mo Kami” where he plays the role of a priest suspected of murder, Allen Dizon comes home to find out that he’ll now be part of GMA-7’s hit morning drama, “Princess in the Palace”.

He will play Eula Valdes’ love interest. It's to be noted that last year, when Allen won the Urian best actor award for "Magkakabaung", the best actress award was won by Eula for "Dagitab". In "Princess in the Palace", Eula plays the president of our country. Allan will be a former flame who is now a very rich man and wants to win back Eula’s affection. Allen’s role in ABS-CBN’s “Doble Kara” as Carmina Villaroel’s husband has already ended, so he’s now perfectly free to accept a new role from the rival network.

Allen is now also shooting the movie, “Area”, with Ai Ai de las Alas for BG Productions where he plays the owner of a cheap casa or red house in Angeles City. He’s also very proud that his daughter, Felixia Dizon, who appeared with him in the award-winning movie, “Magkakabaung”, has just won the best child actor award in the Gawad Pasado given by academicians.

This is for Felixia’s touching role as a child afflicted with a terminal illness in “Child Haus”, which won the best children’s film at the Dhaka International Filmfest. Felixia’s award will be given to her at the Gawad Pasado Awards night to be held at UE auditorium on Saturday, April 16. Next month, Allen and daughter will be attending the 5th Hong Kong Salento International Filmfest where their movie “Magkakabaung” will be screened at the Grand Cinema in Kowloon on May 15, Sunday. They’re inviting all Filipinos based in Hong Kong to attend the screening.
