Aiko Melendez & Jomari Yllana's Son, Andre, Graduate From High School, Aiko Wants Him To Finish College Before Joining Showbiz

AIKO MELENDEZ and Jomari Yllana were reunited to attend the high school graduation of their son, Andre, together. Because of this, some writers conclude that it’s “nangangamoy balikan”. But Aiko quickly dismisses this, saying that after being separated from each other for the past 13 years, she and Jomari have realized that they’re really much better off as friends.

In her social media account, this is Aiko’s message for Andre, now 17 years old: “Your dad and I may not be together anymore but we made a pact that whatever happens, we will become the best parents that we can be to you.”

Later on, she posted their photos having dinner as a family, with Marthena, Aiko’s daughter with Martin Jickain and she wrote: “To our son @andreyllana, dada @jomariyllana @jickainmarthena are so proud of you… We may not be the perfect mom and dad for you but pls know that we are doing our very best to raise you the best way we can.”

Her wish for Andre is for him to go to college and get a diploma first before joining showbiz. Aiko herself remains very active as an actress. On TV, she’s seen regularly in ABS-CBN’s “The Story of Us” and, on the big screen, she is in the controversial drama about a priest who fathered a child, “Iadya Mo Kami”, with Allen Dizon, Diana Zubiri and Ricky Davao, directed by Mel Chionglo. She’s now also shooting “Balatkayo” with James Blanco and Rodjun Cruz, directed by Buboy Tan. Both films are produced by Dennis Evangelista for BG Productions.
