“We’ve been paired before in ‘Dwarfina’,” says Heart. “But that was years ago and it’s a telefantasya. This time, we’re doing a sexy, naughty romantic comedy full of kilig moments and good vibes kaya naiiba naman sa ginawa namin before. Dennis is one of our best young actors today so I really enjoy working with him.”
The show will start airing on April 4 and their co-stars are Gloria Romero, Gardo Versoza, Lotlot de Leon, Dominic Roco, Erika Padilla, Vincent Magbanua, Kim Domingo, Rob Moya and Leanne Bautista, under the direction of LA Madridejos.
But what does her hubby Sen. Chiz Escudero say about her going back into acting while he’s still busy campaigning as vice president? “He’s happy I have a new show as he knows I love acting very much. Chiz is always supportive naman. In the one year na nagsasama kami as husband and wife, I learned so much from him as he’s a very good mentor. I can really say that I’ve become a better person because of him. Big blessing siya sa buhay ko. Tutulong pa rin ako sa kampanya niya kapag wala akong tapings. Hindi naman niya ako pine-pressure to be with him but I do it kasi enjoy rin ako and it’s a learning experience for me meeting our kababayans in various provinces.”
