Erik Santos And Angeline Quinto Tired Of Being Asked About Their Relationship And Innuendos About Their Gender

ERIK SANTOS and Angeline Quinto are obviously tired of being asked as to what is the real score in their relationship. Writers keep on insinuating that they’re actually on but there are also those who keep on making nasty innuendos about their gender.

“I’d prefer na kung magkakaroon man kami ni Angeline ng official relationship, it would be better if we’d just keep it to ourselves,” says Erik at the presscon of “Royals”, their concert with Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez and Angeline. “I’d rather keep the details of our relationship sa amin na lang. Kasi nahirapan talaga ako sa dating kong experience na naging open na nga kami pero bina-bash pa rin.”

He’s referring to Rufa Mae Quinto with whom he had a short lived affair. “E, ngayon, dahil sa social media, mas grumabe ang sitwasyon. Kapag hindi pa kayo umaamin, pinipilit kayong umamin na. Kapag naging kayo naman, gagawa naman ng mga intriga para mapaghiwalay kayo. Basta as of now, more than friendship kami ni Angeline but not yet officially kami.”

Martin agrees with him that it’s really better if celebrities would keep their relationship private. Well, he should tell that to the celebrities themselves who keep on posting the latest happenings about their private lives on social media. But does Martin believe Erik will be the next Martin Nievera? It’s Erik himself who answers the question.

“I don’t think there will be a next Martin or a next Regine,” he says. “They’re one of a kind. Nag-iisa lang sila.Wala pang papalit sa kanila.”

Does he feel pressured performing on the same stage with Martin? “Hindi naman yun mawawala. I’m sure maski kay Angeline. But we consider it a big blessing na makasama namin sila isang big Valentine concert like ‘Royals’. Nasa amin ni Angeline ang lahat ng effort to level up, keep up with them dahil mas establisado na sila kaysa sa amin.”

“Royals” will be held at MOA Arena on February 13 and at Waterfront Cebu on February 14.
