Enrique Gil Says 'Dolce Amore' Is The Perfect Follow To His And Liza Soberano's Hit 'Forevermore'

ENRIQUE GIL is happy to be back on screen with Liza Soberano in “Dolce Amore”. “Matagal na, ang daming nagtatanong, nag-aabang, naghihintay, kailan daw ang follow up namin sa ‘Forevermore’, kasi nami-miss na nila kami,” he says. “O ngayon, heto na, finally. The long wait is over. Ang dami nang nakapanood ng trailer at lahat sila, nagsasabing ‘We’re happy to see you back’. And yes, it’s good to be back. This is the perfect follow up to 'Forevermore'.”

So how is it working with Liza again? “Well, definitely, mas maganda ang working relationship namin ngayon. Mas tumaas ang level kasi mas mahaba na ang pinagsamahan namin lalo na after we did our movie ‘Everyday I Love You’ which was shot in Bacolod. Halos araw-araw, magkasama kami uli sa taping and it feels nice.”

So, are they finally, officially in a relationship? “No, waiting pa rin ako for her to turn 18. Basta ako, I just continue to show how much I care for her. I’m willing to wait naman. Naghinta na ako nang ganito katagal, so I can wait some more.”

So, he doesn’t look at other girls anymore? “Kailangan pa ba? May makita man ako, in eyes and in my heart, wala nang makakapantay pa sa ganda ng ka-love team ko.”

“Dolce Amore” is about Serena (Liza), a balikbayan from Italy who meets Tenten (Enrique), a poor boy and how love blooms between them. It starts airing tonight, Monday, as replacement for “Pangako Sa’Yo”.
