On February 29, the latest reincarnation of “Ang Panday” starts on TV5, with Brother Boyet in the role of the arch villain, Lizardo. He takes over from Phillip Salvador who played Lizardo in the film versions made by Sen. Bong Revilla. We ask Bro. Bo why he accepted a contrabida role?
“Mas malaki ang role ni Lizardo dito. Mas marami at mas malupit ang powers niya. Also, gaya ni Richard Gutierrez as Flavio, makakatawid siya from the past to the modern world through a magic portal. It’s a new challenge for me kaya tinanggap ko,” says the only actor who is criss-crossing liberally from one top network to another.
